NXP is a key provider of safe and secure SDV platforms for electrification, connectivity, and driving automation. In particular, NXP products enable Service-Oriented Architectures and Over-The-Air updates based on advanced vehicle, zonal and networking devices.
NXP role in FEDERATE project includes brainstorming, participation to workshops and meetings, contribution to deliverables, online promotion and semiconductor-centric guidelines for subsidiary projects, etc. NXP is one of the strategic partners involved in subgroup of semiconductor industry partners which plays a crucial role to develop the new necessary hihg performance automotive processors and accelerators as well as sensor chips. It also acts as additional partner involved in WP3 (Common Understanding) and WP4 (Strategic Recommendations).
