Mercedes-Benz is working hard on SDV activities internally as well as Open Source e.g. In Eclipse SDV Working Group with their partners from MBTI and other Opensource projects. As OEM, they know how to build vehicles. Together with their partners and software developer workforce of MB.OS – Mercedes-Benz is the architect of their future SDV.
In FEDERATE, Mercedes-Benz is a member, who brings in its’ knowledge as OEM and foster collaboration. It is involved in WP2 (Technology and high-level requirements solicitation), WP3 (Common Understanding) and WP4 (Strategic recommendations). It also leads T4.1 (Orchestrated building block backlog).
