This deliverable, D1.4 – Third Periodic Project Report, provides a consolidated overview of the FEDERATE consortium’s work and results achieved during M25–M30 (October 2025–March 2026). It summarises progress across all five work packages and highlights the project’s transition from conceptual alignment and requirements collection towards tangible ecosystem impact, open-source implementation and strengthened community building. During the reporting period, all activities and milestones progressed in line with the project plan, with no materialised risks or significant deviations in cost or schedule. Key achievements included the continued development of the FEDERATE GitHub Building Block repository, which grew to more than 150 building block descriptions; the mapping of components from the Eclipse S-CORE 0.5 alpha release to FEDERATE Building Blocks; strengthened collaboration with European RDI projects and SDV initiatives; and contributions supporting the launch of the European Connected and Autonomous Vehicle Alliance (ECAVA). Dissemination and community-building activities also expanded significantly, with 71 partner organisations, 390 subscribed individuals and more than 1,300 LinkedIn followers by M30. Overall, the report documents FEDERATE’s progress in moving from coordination and strategic alignment towards concrete technical outputs, ecosystem engagement and longer-term sustainability of the European SDV community.
