On 23rd September 2024, FEDERATE has gathered 63 participants from OEMs, Tiers, engineering service providers, academics, research institutes and people from other related fields. The goal was to share information and to derive a common understanding on the Software Defined Vehicle of the Future (SDVoF) Initiative of the European Commission.
An overview of related projects and initiatives was presented to the audience. Furthermore, updates and insights on the Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) were shown by a broad variety of speakers. Above all, the FEDERATE Networking event provided a platform for the SDV community to meet, discuss and network. By that, people were encouraged to embrace the idea of a common collaboration on the European SDVoF. Thus, the FEDERATE Networking event took place in Vienna in conjunction with the Autonomous Main Event 2024, which took place the next day – on 24th September 2024.
